David Kellett This is a masterful example of “Berlin School” space music. From its ambient opening of drifting varied tones, through its sequencer middle and back to its drifting/gliding ambient end, it creates an excellent balance of movement and stasis.
I saw this as a journey on a space craft to a distant planet with the last section being gliding towards the destination planet with majestic views of an alien sun appearing from behind the target planet.

Taking the experimental ideas and style of Spiral Space, I wanted to produce something more composed. Spiral Space 2 is a long 45 minute track which I hope offers enough soundscape variation to maintain interest, with a higher energy sequence section in the middle starting from the 15 minute point.
