Andy Bloyce This is a really nice album from Steve. He's captured some great sounds, with an overall performance to match them.

This is especially true on "Back Underground Live Performance", which is very much like a lost mid-70's Klaus Schulze track from one of his Editions.

I'm really enjoying this release. Recommended. Favorite track: Back Underground Live Performance.

Emancipators Original and engaging. Manages to be both simple and complicated at the same time. Particularly like the live performance Favorite track: Back Underground Live Performance.

about

This Space Chimp, free from Lockdown, takes a trip into the City. And the best way to do that is by train. But is this environment really free of the dreaded virus?
Sequences, percussion and a bit of weirdness. No keyboards were touched or harmed in the making of this production. If you’re looking for chords and pads there are none.
This started as a Eurorack live performance, with the surprising percussion output of the classic Wasp filter. Combining that Wasp filter output into Rings, and wow London Overground came to be.
The Bonus isn't a track as such, but is the percussion I recorded separately on the Eurorack with a little filter and Branches random setting variation applied throughout, to add more variation to the Back Underground 19 min album track.

about

American Astro Monkey Project London, UK

American Astro Monkey Project presents the electronic compositions of Steve Godwin. Based in London he is still inspired by the original 1970s electronica artists Jean-Michel Jarre, Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream & UK's John Foxx & Gary Numan. Analogue synthesis still remains a wondrous world of sound exploration. Steve invites you here to come exploring with him.
