about

In 1978 there was a Sci-Fi radio comedy broadcast on the BBC called The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. That series featured a certain character. Hence the title of this release suggested by a certain Space Dog.

This release has two tracks recorded live of the 2600. A Eurorack Black Hole DSP2 processed the VCA output prior to the audio passing back into the spring reverb.

The two tracks are 2600 voicing, with minimal post processing.

It is highly recommended to use big speakers, for the best and most comfortable listening experience!

Thanks to Andy Bloyce (The Soviet Space Dog Project) for his advice on the use of the 2600. Also for working his audio processing magic to EQ and Master these tracks.

about

American Astro Monkey Project London, UK

American Astro Monkey Project presents the electronic compositions of Steve Godwin. Based in London he is still inspired by the original 1970s electronica artists Jean-Michel Jarre, Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream & UK's John Foxx & Gary Numan. Analogue synthesis still remains a wondrous world of sound exploration. Steve invites you here to come exploring with him.

Let's monkey around with sound!
